ACHIEVE
At Bristnall Hall Technology College, we want our students to enjoy college! Our students are encouraged to attend school regularly and we help to remove barriers that may prevent them from achieving their potential.
Students will study a range of topics geared to help them make the correct education and career choices throughout their lives.
A new school year, Friendships, Careers: goal setting, interview skills, body language, career plans Target setting and Options, Revision planner, The World of Work, CV and, Personal Statement, Interview Skills
Enrichment
We also arrange five enrichment days per year. In Year 9, enrichment day is ‘Career’s Day’ which is designed to give students the information, advice and guidance they need in order for them to set realistic goals and decide which path they will take for their future.
During Year 10, we offer all students the opportunity to go on Work Experience for a week. This is designed to give students an idea about what it is like to work – it may not always be in their ideal career area but it will help students to understand what it’s like to go out to work.
