Students are encouraged to engage in decision making and support the local community. They are encouraged to engage in law-abiding and positive behaviour in and out of school.
Students are helped to develop self-confidence and successfully deal with significant life changes; they are assisted to develop positive relationships and are supported in developing their enterprise skills.
RELIGIOUS
STUDIES
During key stage 3, students will study a range of topics geared to help them make a positive contribution in life:
Families and Life changes, Groups in society, Environmental issues, Family problems, Young carers, Community issues
During key stage 4 the following Religious Studies subjects are studied:
- Poverty and wealth
- Sex and Relationships and Marriage
- Family and the elderly
- Prejudice and discrimination
- Causes of war, Pacifism, Terrorism, Nuclear Warfare and Proliferation
- Crime and Punishment
Be healthy
We actively encourage our students to live healthy lifestyles.

Our students are encouraged to refrain from discrimination and taught how to keep themselves safe.

We want all of our students to enjoy college and achieve their potential.
